Application Of Popular Music Elements In Solfeggio Teaching Practice

Popular music,which emerged in the nineteenth century,is blooming.Though,the notion that classical music and popular music are compatible is not accepted by authorties in this field.But with the popularity of popular music and its great influence to people's life,the specialists begin to reflecet the evaluation to popular music and realize the advantage of it.It used to be a weakness in the process of training the nucleus for higher musical education.By adopting scientific approaches, the author aim to help students to transfer the mastery of popular music to the quality in the practice of solfeggio,hence combine the advantages of the two music types so as to accomplish the interaction,brevity and variety of the teaching practice,thus broaden the train of thought.This dissertation aims to study the way to apply elements in popular music to solfeggio teaching.By analyzing the features of popular music and the regular memory pattern of human beings,the author explores the possibility and practice of this conception and formulate teaching scheme accordingly.Thus the ultimate goal of improving people's musical quality could be achieved by taking advantage of storage of easily accessible musical message.By so far the systematic and theoretical framework has not been formulated.The material is scarce,and scattered teaching practice is conducted without regular guidance.Material analysis,comparison and contrast method,practical research are conducted in this article to prove the possibility,scientific feasibility ,practicality of applying elements in popular music to solfeggio teaching.This article also elaborates the concrete conception and expected effect and its realistic significance.
