| College Chinese is an important basic course of higher education. It plays a significant role in improving college student's humanity. What' s more, it is the important bases of other collegesubjects. The primary command college of the CAPF bears the responsibility of training the cadres at bases level. It means that the students receive not only the regular higher education but also the military professional education. So in the course of the education, we should meet the need of the society especially the Armed Police Forces, as well as the need of the development of higher military science and technology. Furthermore, we should pay more attention to the desire interset and ability of the students. In a word, the training goals above should be taken value seriously.However, there are many causes restricting the development of college Chinese education. For example, the vague subject location, unreasonable subjece structure, unperfect teaching materials, unsuitable teaching methods. At the same time, the students are lack of enough subjective consciousness, and the teaching appraisal should be improved. These problems obviously hinder the development of college Chinese teaching.For this purpose, the author has made a sampling survey of the problems in Chinese teaching in six Armed Police College, and the paper has analyzed the causesof it. At the end of the paper, some improving measures and means have been raised. This is, we should reconfirm the status of college Chinese teaching, adjust the teaching materials, and attach enough importance to teacher's professional development. Also we should adjust the teaching mathod, and reform the examination system.The paper has analyses the present situation of college Chinese teaching, in order that the military college Chinese teachers could attach enough importance to the Chinese teaching. The author hopes to improve the present situation of Chinese teaching, and tries to enlighten other basic course teaching.
