In modern Chinese, there exists an expanding tendency in theemployment of accusative subject sentence, where accusative wordis taken as the subject; meanwhile, many meaningful discussionshave also been conducted in its types, expressive functions,conditions of usage, and forming reasons. Taking accusativesubjective sentence in news lead the research object, the SmallTriangle Theory of 'Surface-Meaning-Value' the theoreticalbackground, supported by valency theory and cognitive linguisticstheory and combining practical language materials; thisdissertation aims at discovering features of press and medialanguages and perfecting discussions in due fields on the basisof a systematic study on accusative subject sentence in newspapernews lead from the following four aspects:â… . Types of narrow-sense accusative subject sentence innewspaper news lead. Two kinds of narrow-sense accusative subjectsentence are discussed here, namely, accusative subject sentencewith and without object. Survey shows that predicate in accusativesubject sentences without object can be unconditional bare verbwith no suffix after its predicate. The object of narrow-senseaccusative subject can be predicatical.â…¡. Component analysis of narrow-sense accusative subjectsentences in newspaper news lead. This part mainly studies thecomponent of accusative subject and predicate verbs inafore-mentioned fields, and discovers that accusative subject an be formed by proper noun; when it' s formed by attribute-headwordphrase, the attribute should be multiple. The predicate verb ofnarrow-sense accusative subject sentence can be composed bybivalent verb-object verb, among which some are intransive, whenaccusative words can only be placed before the subject.â…¢. Semantic and pragmatic features of narrow-senseaccusative subject sentences in newspaper news lead. Whenaccusative words are objects of the verb, nonderogatory passivemeanings are expressed. Narrow-sense accusative subject sentenceis an objective narration to certain influences or results of acertain action, as represented by the predicate verb, does to theaccusative in a certain event or procedure.â…£. Analysis of "Bei" sentence where accusative word is thesubject in newspaper news lead. This part mainly discussesstructural features: semantic and pragmatic functions in theabove-mentioned field; and finds that the predicate verb can bebare verb, while the function remains mainly to expressdispleasure and dissatisfaction.
