As basical ways of knowing and experiencing the world, spatial understand and experiences are related to literary creation, so based on it, the thesis will explain LuXun's novels—《Old Tales Retold》.The author thinks that on inheriting proper spatial feeling and thinking of Chinese classical literature,《Old Tales Retold》creats a new novelistic style, which has national character and modern implication, and it is important gain of Chinese contemporary literature. In detail, the novels' basical organizing ways including text apposition, topic addition, detail repeat, images use; structurally, it shows bright spatial character, which shows meet and transi(?)ion of void and true, as well as past and now, in addition, it shows irony. Furthermore, the strong sense of master makes the novels absurd, cold and rigid as well as gloomy aesthetically.
