On The Narrative Space Of Luxun's Short Stories

Luxun is a great founder of modern Chinese literature, whose short stories have a great spirit of exploration, and fully demonstrated his creativity on form. Although he created a small number of stories, he becomes the initial pathfinder of new Chinese literary in novel form. Furthermore,the space form of his stories has great academic value. The narrative space of Luxun's stories is the object of this thesis which is to a certain degree of classification, including the natural space, social space, mental space etc. The focus of this thesis is the analysis of the more common elements of natural space in Luxun's stories, for example, the space environment in winter, the space environment at nigh, the space environment in snow, the space environment in the moon.The chapter in the social space environment focuses on urban space, town space, and rural space, which are based on the macro space classification. In spatial classification, this thesis studies the typical hotel, teahouse, cemetery, temple, meeting room, reading room, and road. On psychological space, this thesis studies 'the iron house'as Luxun's thinking space.At the same time, the features of Luxun's stories in the narrative space for artistic expression in the scene of the picture and socialization are expounded.The study point of view is on the accept of readers to the text, and the core of the chapters is the narrative space of Luxun's stories.Finally, the relationship between narrative space and narrative time in Luxun's short stories is studied...
