Based on his moral practice, Tang Jun-Yi maintained that_the essence of morallife is to push involuntary oneself around to surmount realistic self and experience thedignity of Moral Self. He proceeded to track the status of Moral Self in the universe. In this course, he concluded that the noumenon of mind/heart is the essence of humanbeing, and from doubting the truth of the realistic world and experiencing theuncharity of the realistic world, he declaimed that the noumenon of mind/heart is realand good, and it is the origin of our Moral Self. He further explained that thenoumenon of mind/heart is the noumenon of realistic world. Finally, he demonstratedthat the noumenon is a kind of spirit which not only transcends the realistic world andlife, but also be represented in the realistic world and life. For the purpose of solving the moaning of human beings' existence, he tried totrack the noumenon. In his opinion, mind is the essence of life and human is the mindof universe, so all activities are mind's activities in the human beings' whole life. Themind can be performed adequately or inadequately, therefore the value of one's lifecorrespondingly differs. If the mind can be performed adequately, his life will benoble; or if the mind is out-of-the-way, his life will fall into a trap. On these grounds, all the activities of life are divided into seven kinds: for survival, for love, for fameand power, for truth, for good, for beauty and for saint. The first three kinds are thephysical appetency of human beings and the realistic life is a course to fulfill them. The latter four kinds are the metaphysical desire of human beings and thetranscendent life is a course to fulfill them. After ruminating the system of philosophy, Tang Jun-Yi extended Moral Self toall activities of human being and constructed his metaphysical system that includesthree directions and consists of nine realms in the evening of his life. In this system,he regarded life, being and mind as noumenon, presentation and function, and thenanalyzed the relations of them.
