Analysis Of The Female Consciousness In Tiening' Novels

In Tiening's novels, the author focuses on the female's existingsituation and their fates conscientiously. The novels reflect consistentlythe structure centered with female, creating a series of various femaleimages with remarkable cultural details. This thesis cuts itself into theillustration of female consciousness reflected in her novels.The main body of the thesis is consisted of four parts.The first part is concerned with the identification of femaleconsciousness and the female consciousness reflected in Tiening's novels.It cards the definition made by the theoretical field and generalizes theessence of female consciousness and the embodiment existing in femaleliterary creation. In this part, the author also goes to the summation of thecharacteristics Tiening embraces herself with when she creates femaleconsciousness and to the summery of female consciousness in her books,which is reflected as the interrogation of the female's miserable fate inmale-centered society with the target to re-build the female's healthfulhuman nature and her identity, and to construct the female's independent personality with self-respect, self-improvement and self-examination.The second part of the thesis is involved in cultural recovery offemale consciousness. In her novels, Tiening makes a sharp inquiry intothe miserable situation of the female.
