The Investigation And Study Of Xin Jiang Oil Painting Teaching

Oil painting was introduced to China a century ago, Xinjiang's oil started its development later than its counterparts about 50 years. It has undergone 3 stages: the contact at the initial stage, the further development at the middle stage, and present prosperity at the final stage. Xinjiang's oils development has closely associated with oil teaching in the universities. At the beginning stage it deeply ingrained in the schools. Its popularity and development resulted from oil teaching's development. Therefore, it has double meanings in terms of history and reality to sum up the developmental track of Xinjiang's oil teaching, and to make a study of its present situation and predict its future.This paper will clarify it in three aspects as followings:First, we will focus on its origin and basis. Russian is a special channel for oil painting spread into Xinjiang. Artists from mainland and people graduating from various art schools came to Xinjiang and worked together to facilitate the development of oil teaching in Xinjiang. Oil teaching in Xinjiang went from the initial embryo to difficult development; finally, it got present prosperity.Secondly, we will list its present teaching situation. The typical examples of universities go like followings: Art College of Xinjiang Normal University, Shihezi University, Changji College, Yili Normal College, Xinjiang Educational College, and Kashi Normal College. They had made complementary development, and worked together to promote the development of oil teaching because the academic level of teachers is very high; and the ratio of professors and associate professors is relatively larger. In the multi-ethnic region's cultural background, teachers are the essential elements to push the development of Xinjiang oil teaching. Students, teachers'input and output, frequent academic communication promote the communication and cooperation in oil teaching between mainland and Xinjiang, which injected new energy to Xinjiang oil teaching.Thirdly, we will make a prospect to Xinjiang's oil teaching. Realism has always been the mainstream of Xinjiang's oil teaching, which is its charm and special feature-the thing from nationality belongs to the international. Xinjiang has special geographic environment and profound historical roots. Standing on the hard work of artists and universities'oil teaching, more talents and numerously good works will be created.
