| This essay reviews the historical development of the study on conjunctions of modern Chinese by stages, explores the future trends of it in different fields. On the basis of the study fruit of the predecessors, the characters category,inner and outer classify,grammatical functions of the conjunctions are deeply studied and then several news ideas are put forward to enrich and perfect the theoretical system of the conjunction study. Meanwhile, this essay exams comprehensively on several typical conjunctions by using tracing,observing,analyzing,analyzing,comparing, and gets convinced conclusions and useful explorations on typical cases.
