The painted sculptures in Shuilu Nunnery in Lantian County, Shaanxi, is one of the most well-preserved and complete sculpture statue groups painted in the Ming Dynasty for the present in China. This statue group takes the area south of Yellow River Buddhism statue as a background. They are compatible and featuring in gathering "Buddhism", "the Taoism" and "the Confucianism". This article mostly has the representation in view of the painted sculpture statue group in 24 painted sculptures work in Shuilu Nunnery by using the utilization history study, the picture study and the culture study method. The essay tries to analyze the painted sculptures through art view, study its original characteristics, reveal the inside historical culture value and to set up a research flat of Chinese ancient art remain represented with"painted sculpture in the wall", so that to keep and study on the excellent and non-regenerative"painted sculpture in the wall"in china.
