Pictophonetic characters in Oracle had their forms early both in Yin and Shang dynasties. Chinese characters were already pictophonetized by Zhou and Jin dynasties. From then on, the percentage of pictophonetic characters was situated in the increasing state, which raises the scholars' a lot of interest in ancient and neoteric times. And most papers and works appear in the world. Bamboo slips, as one of the most important and significant discovers were invented in the times of the great production of pictophonetic characters. Although some scholars researched pictophonetic characters in individual way, few people researched and discussed some pictophonetic characters in the specific way.The paper will employ The Bamboo Slips Excavated From Ancient Tombs of the Han Dynasty in Yinque Mountain(one) as the research material, and it will start from the general knowledge of pictophonetic characters and analyze some aspects of their types and the locations of phonetic and graphical components, the frequency of composing words, the comparison between phonetic and graphical components, etc. to research the situation of the used pictophonetic characters in The Bamboo Slips Excavated From Ancient Tombs of the Han Dynasty in Yinque Mountain(one) in order to explore their ranks and function in the whole history of development of pictophonetic characters, and we expect to provide some material for the study of the history of Chinese, the history of Chinese characters and the study of Chinese.The paper is composed of five chapters, adopting macro and micro methods of analysis to achieve the exhaustive statistics.Chapter One General Introduction discusses the position of pictophonetic characters in the development of Chinese characters, and instructs the value and significance of the study of pictophonetic characters in The Bamboo Slips Excavated From Ancient Tombs of the Han Dynasty in Yinque Mountain (one). Then it introduces the material The Bamboo Slips Excavated From Ancient Tombs of the Han Dynasty in Yinque Mountain(one), and instructs the general knowledge, which followed by the summary of the research state of pictophonetic characters and the book in the academic field. Finally, it researches the different pictophonetic characters of Yi Sheng Characters,shape omitted or phonetic omitted, more than one phonetic or pictographic element ,two Xu boundaries decide the shape pictophonetic characters.Chapter Three The Study of Graphical Ingredients of Pictophonetic Characters and Chapter Four The Study of Phonetic Ingredients of Pictophonetic Characters analyze the positions of rates of graphical and phonetic ingredients and regard it as the starting point to statistic the number of the characters composed by the graphical and phonetic ingredients and their frequency of their composing characters, and to analyze and generalize them in forms.Chapter Five The Analysis of Comparison of Pictophonetic Characters analyzes the development and changes of Chinese Characters on the basis of the achievement of the research of Chinese pictophonetic characters and the research of them in the book The Bamboo Slips Excavated From Ancient Tombs of the Han Dynasty in Yinque Mountain(one), explores further the difference and the similarity of phonetic and graphical ingredients in the aspects of the number and frequency of composing characters.
