On The Study Of Phonetics Of Tongling Dialect

Tongling dialect is a speech island, which belonging to the Wu Dialect in Xuanzhou Cluster. For the influence of mighty dialect, especially the Jianghuai Mandarin,the popularization of common speech of the Chinese language, the character had been gradually abraded, the territory is shrinking. This makes Tongling dialect at a interim, that contains the partial Wu dialect and the Jianghuai Mandarin's characteristics. This article is trying to draw out a outline of phonetic features and development line of Tongling dialect, through the synchronic descriptions of Tongling dialect phonetic system, the comparison of the phonetic system between Tongling dialect and the middle ancient times,Tongling dialect and the dialect around it ,especially Suzhou dialect and Hefei dialect.The full text is divided into five parts totally: The preface mainly introduces the research present condition of the Tongling dialect in brief and the theories value of the research. Chapter 1 mainly introduces the geography position, the origin and development of Tongling and the basic condition of Tongling dialect. Chapter 2 describes and analyzes phonetic system of Tongling dialect. Chapter 3 and chapter 4 mainly compare the phonetic system between Tongling dialect and the middle ancient times,Tongling dialect and the dialect around it ,especially Suzhou dialect and Hefei dialect.
