Construction Of The Chinese Harmonious Society Seen From The Social Integration View Of Emile Durkheim's "Corporation"

Social integration view of Emile Durkheim's"corporation"forms under the social background when the west developed countries encountered the economical, social and spiritual crisis in the 19th century. But the academic circles pay little attention to this thought, and the literatures are extremely rare to discuss the construction of the Chinese harmonious society from this angle. The paper attempts to analyze the social integration thought of Emile Durkheim's"corporation"and its enlightenment to our country in constructing a harmonious society.This paper includes three parts altogether. The first part explains concrete the social integration view of Emile Durkheim's"corporation". It analyzes the social background, the theory origins, the forming history, the implications and the characteristics which this thought formed, elaborates concrete the social integration functions of the corporation which takes as the social middle organization and interests requirement organization, and the social integration functions which takes the professional ethics as the core. The second part evaluates the social integration view of Emile Durkheim's"corporation". It introduces the further exploration on this thought that new Durkheimism does, summarizes the characteristics of the social integration view of Emile Durkheim's"corporation", elaborates the limitations of the"corporation"in some aspects, which include the question of fettering individual, the question of benefit representative, the question of tenseness with the nation, the question of approval of members in community. The third part analyzes the enlightenment of the social integration view of Emile Durkheim's"corporation"to our country in constructing a harmonious society. This part points out that it needs the Chinese corporation to construct a harmonious society, analyzes the premise factors for constructing corporation and finally points out that the cultivation of professional ethic as collective consciousness is the core of constructing Chinese corporation.
