The Study Of The Female Consciousness Of The Yuefu Of The Nan Dynasty

The Yuefu of the Nan Dynasty has a very important position in the history of Chinese literature. Most of the 500 poems are love stories. It's very rare to see so much about love in the history of Chinese literature. Women suddenly had their right to speak loudly in that feudal society where men ruled all. Women song their stories fearlessly. It's very difficult to understand why such a phenomenon existed. What on earth caused it to happen? This paper begins with the female writers of the Yuefu of the Nan Dynasty, studies the single love theme in the Yuefu in a systemic way, teases the female images from the Yuefu, analyzes from the text the phenomenon of the regress of female consciousness, discusses the reason of the regress of female consciousness in the Nan Dynasty, thus reveals the life of women in the Nan Dynasty.This paper has six parts. The first chapter begins with the writers of the Yuefu. We draw the conclusion from analyzing the text that most of the writers are female. Then we do some textual research of those female writers, thus reveal the fact that the Yueji is the main body of the writers of the Yuefu.The second chapter mainly analyses the main body of the writers and disseminators of the Yuefu, namely Yueji. Yueji is a special group of people. They were homeless and had no position in society. But they had some natural and intimate relationship with writers. Because they often affiliated with writers, they got some talent. In addition to the not very tight feudal constrain on them, they could speak loudly in the Yuefu, thus became the main body of the disseminators of the Yuefu.The third and the fourth chapters begin with the text, analyze the single theme of love and various female images in the Yuefu, discuss the differences between the Yuefu and other folk songs considering the theme and the character, thus reveal the fact that the women in the Nan Dynasty dare to pursue their love and enjoy all the happiness and sadness in their love. These two chapters are the stand of the following discussion of the regress of the original female consciousness in the Yuefu.In the fifth chapter, we first reveal the step by step feudalization of the original female consciousness through analyzing the female consciousness reflected by some ancient myths, the Shijing and the Yuefu of the Han Dynasty. Then we reveal that the Nan Dynasty is a special period of Chinese feudal society and that the special phenomenon of the temporary regress of female consciousness can be found in the Yuefu.The sixth chapter mainly discusses the reason of the regress of the original female consciousness in the Nan Dynasty. The conclusion is drawn from several aspects such as politics, idea and economy: people's consciousness of life in a society full of turbulence waked up the female consciousness; the temporary loose of Confusion constrains made the temporary regress of the original female consciousness possible; and business culture in cities promotes the regress of the original female consciousness.
