The folk songs are one of the most ancient racial arts, containing abundant racial cultural content and ethos in them. With the development of globalization and modernization, folk songs and their culture are faced with transformation from traditional to modernization. As a new form ofracial arts for contemporary development, Nanning International Folk Songs Arts Festival has been subjected to the concern of aesthetic anthropology researchers. From the perspective of aesthetic anthropology and through Nanning International Folk Songs Arts Festival, this paper wants to discuss how the folk song arts, a pre-industrial era product, survive and develop in modern times. Through "thick description" and "comparison" with its cultural change, we make a relatively complete and profound analysis on the cultural rules and cultural value and significance of racial arts development.The thesis is consisted of three main parts.Chapter 1: We discuss Nanning International Folk Songs Arts Festival from the perspective of Aesthetic Anthropology and elaborate on the formation mechanism of Nanning Folkloric Song Festival by way of "thick description" borrowed from cultural anthropology. First, Zhuang folk songs, as one of the cultural symbols, have deep cultural and psychological factors. Second, the reason for the possibility of Nanning Folkloric Song Festival to reinterpret should be the reconstruction of symbolic meaning due to cultural change. Finally, we will describe the new folk song arts and culture represented in Nanning Folkloric Song Festival.Chapter 2: We will explain the cultural connotations of Nanning International Folk Songs Arts Festival. Nanning Folkloric Song Festival is the production of contemporary aesthetic ideology. It is a reconstruction of folk symbols that reflect the cultural realities of a transition period. Folkloric Song Festival is a complex of contradictions whose contents and forms possess the feature of"mixed up"which is obvious in cultural transition. It is characterized of cultural conflicts between tradition and modernization and locality and the world. Unless we face with its historical inevitability, we will not get lost in the cultural transition. Folkloric Song Festival is also necessary to develop a culture of innovation and exploration, and performance of traditional and contemporary, local and international cultural integration. The culture itself is positive tests with practical significance.The chapter 3 is about the development of contemporary folk cultural significance. Folkloric Song Festival has a positive impact. Zhuang`s folk songs culture is in a pivotal position in Guangxi. As an aesthetic ideology, its cultural value is to play a special role in art -- aesthetic enlightenment, transforming a person's life and ideas to provide a feasible set for the future. It reconstructs the national identity and enhances national self-confidence and cohesion. On the other hand, it promotes the all-round development for the nation .The capitalization of racial culture provides a new approach for developing national economy. It also serves to shape ethos and realize modernization.
