The teaching innovation research of the course The Chinese FolkDance is not only the key to the inheritance and development of ourChinese folk dance, but also a difficult systematic job needed to be donein wide ranges.Taking the course of The Chinese Folk Dance of the dancing majorin non-artistic specialized, colleges and universities as the research object,and being based on the investigation of the present courses taught indifferent kinds of non-artistic schools in Hunan province, this thesisfocuses on analyzing the obstacles to the teaching innovation with thehelp of the theories of Education, and thus deals with somecountermeasures and strategies of teaching innovation.This paper consists of three parts. The first part introduces thecauses of lack of innovation from historical and present perspectivesbased on the analysis of the current teaching methods of the course ofThe Chinese Folk Dance. In the second part, the author analyzes thechallenges from all aspects in teaching The Chinese Folk Dance in thosenon-artistic schools, including the contradictions of the tendency ofinternationalization and nationalization as well as the differentiation infolk dance due to it, or the development of folk dance itself. The thirdpart mainly deals with the new thoughts and strategies of the teachinginnovation in the course The Chinese Folk Dance from 7 aspects. Theauthor puts forward his own points on the preconditions, purposes andkey parts of the teaching innovation from the angle of new thoughts ofteaching, trying to find the strategies of innovation by analyzingtextbooks used, the structure of the course designed, the teaching methods taken and the teaching evaluation. Meanwhile, based on theintegration of theory and my teaching practice, we suggest that fourpairs of relationships be handled correctly: the relationships between"development" and "abandonment", "culture" and "dancing", "skill"and "art", and "Academy School" and "Primitiveness school".
