A Study On Xiong Xilin's Management Thought And Practice

Xiong Xilin was a historic man during the late Qing dynasty and the Period of the Republic of China. From the reform movement of 1898 to undertaking the first prime minister of Republic of China, from leaving his post to work for charity to Resisting against Japanese invader and helping those who suffer from the war, he did so much and was ranked ahead among all the patriots. At the time of half-feudalism and half-colonialism when China suffered from inside and outside, Xiong Xilin devoted himself to our country having a good mind to make her rich and strong. He helped to bring reform in Hunan province, set up schools and newspapers, established enterprises, arranged reconstruction after the war between Russia and Japan in the north-east of China, helped to settle the finance. He also undertook the Chief Executive Officer for making money, Chief Financial Officer, president in Hot river and the first prime minister of Republic of China, tried to find and mine the resource of kerosene, and was engaged in charity and its relative education. When he did all the above, he planned carefully, gave the last measure of his devotion, gain great achievement, and showed outstanding talent for management. As an important part of the research on Xiong Xilin, most of today's studies on Xiong Xilin's management thought and practice are still short of systematization and wildly influenceBased on the relative theories of scientific management, human management, innovation management and other modern management, this study, combined with theory research and case research, analyses Xiong Xilin's management thought and practice deeply and systematically through the following aspects:The reasons why the author carries on this study, relative research, the train of writing and some innovations of the study are presented in the introduction.In the first part, the author introduces the background when Xiong Xilin is living, his experiences about life and study when he is young, and his later practices. Through these introductions, the author analyses the subjective and objective reasons why Xiong Xilin's management thought can come into being.In the second part, the main experiences of Xiong Xilin's management practice are presented.In the third part, the author describes Xiong Xilin's main idea about the management, and explains that his management thought and practice can be united together.In the forth part, the author analyses the main features of Xiong Xilin's management thought and practice, and describes its influence and enlightenment, which will be helpful for us to carry out scientific, human management and innovation.
