The relations between Kuomintang and Communist Party are one of important problem in researching Chinese modern history. Experts and scholars at home and abroad throw much time and energy into researching and discussing this problem. Achievements which have been published are fruitful.At the beginning of 20 centuries, the imperialistic invasion and the feudal warlords' infestation constitute the background of revolution in china. Hunan was one of important revolutionary places where Kuomintang and communist party achieved the earliest cooperation. Under the control of communists, Kuomintang evolved from revolutionary party to governing party in Hunan. Although having become a party in power, it was in control of communists in most regions. Consequently, the more unequal social identity and power are, the more fiercely the two parties fight. In a sense, the relations between Kuomintang and Communist Party in Hunan evolved in terms of power and interests. Therefore, it is historical and realistic significance for studying and researching the problem.The internal structures of Kuomintang and Communist Party in Hunan on the Great revolution are regarded as the subject of analysis in the paper, which include four chapters. The first chapter depicts the evolution of the relations between the two parties. The second chapter mainly analyzes their development and their social compositions. Their basic organizations are discussed in the third chapter. And the fourth chapter focuses on the relations between the peasant revolution and the two parties. Eventually it comes to the conclusion that the inequity between social identity and the distribution of power results to the separation of the two parties.
