The group of Hunan revolutionary writers is a unique literaryphenomenon in the history of modem Chinese literature. This article hasmainly done the systematic and deep study work of the main reasonwhich caused the group of Hunan revolutionary writers come into being,the main characteristics of the group of Hunan revolutionary writers, theinfluence of the group of Hunan revolutionary writers in the history ofmodem Chinese literature.The introduction proposed the concept of the group of Hunanrevolutionary writers, as well as discussed the rationality of this concept.The first chapter elaborated the main reason which caused the groupof Hunan revolutionary writers come into being from three aspects.First,the profound impact of Hunan cultural spirit was the cultural gene whichcaused the group of Hunan revolutionary writers come into being. Second,the requirements of the times of survival and salvation was thebackground conditions which caused the group of Hunan revolutionarywriters come into being. The third, the tradition of "the article is used toexpress ideas and demonstrate the truth" was the driving force whichcaused the group of Hunan revolutionary writers come into being.The second chapter demonstrated the group of Hunan revolutionarywriters' Prominent characteristics was their distinct political tendenciesfrom their leading direction of life acts and their writings,and expoundedthe group of Hunan revolutionary writers not only had rich writingpractice and their writings were the most influentialest in the modernChinese literature's thematic literature,but also the theory which restrictedthe creation of the group of Hunan revolutionary writers including otherrevolutionary writers from the creative arts practice represented by Ding Ling and Zhou Libo and arts theory represented by Mao Zedong andZhou Yang.The third chapter analysed the three aspects' contribution of thegroup of Hunan revolutionary writers on modem Chinese literarydevelopment,as well as the group of Hunan revolutionary writers'limitations which reflected in the creative arts practice and theory in thehistory of modem Chinese literature.Finally, the article described the significance of this topics,andexpected the group of Hunan revolutionary writers' future research.
