Distinctive Narration

The thesis tries to explore into the formation, the artistic presentation andliterature value of repeated narration in his four long novels after his transformationin order to make a further research into the repeated narration art in his later novels.To Live and Chronicle of a Blood Merchant are the masterpieces in his latertransformed novels featured with particular repeated narration which results from thefollowing factors: the enlightenment from music, the cross-effect by modernism andrealism, the need for narration and his distinctive narration skills, also the effect bythe traditional and pioneering styles, the main representation include repetition inplot, sound, image, and theme etc. The repeated narration art serves to produceuncommon artistic effect in these two novels to make the narration characterized byvivid rhythm and prosody, pursuing the transcendence, the fundamental key oftendemess, and the original self.
