This paper focuses on the neorealistic novels appeared in the late 1980s. Itanalyzes their unique postmodern standpoint and aesthetics gusto based on theirrealistic and cultural contexts. The past research mostly concentrated its analysis onthe continued and successive relationship between the neorealistic novels andtraditional realism. In the past analysis, the neorealistic novels were ever ranged tomodernism because of its reference way. But actually, neorealistic novels have clearmundane ideological color and they have abandoned grand narrative way of artrepresentation. Instead, they use complanational narrative tone or style of writing. The contexts are permeated with common piffling subsistence phenomenon. All thesecharacteristics reflect the post-modern aesthetic purport. The thesis discusses three main characteristics of postmodernism. The first oneis deconstruction, which has secreted literature's ration as a tool, abandoned writers'enlightenment, and deconstructed quintessence. The second is secularity. In theneorealistic novels, daily life depiction replaces holy portray, realism confrontidealism, and materialism substitute for abstinency. The last one is complanation. Thecontradictory between exterior and interior, the division of signifier and the signifiedand the language plane's depth is abrogated. Finally the paper summarizes literary inspiration of the concept of writing, language expatiation brought by the "newrealistic" novels. The neorealistic novels as a transitional phenomena of literature have passed. Itis obvious that this phenomena has some shortcomings. But as an important period ofliterary history, it leaves us many topics to discuss and it will certainly affect futurewriters' creativity.
