Deconstruction Trend Of China And Its Literary Expression

Deconstruction trend is a new form of value generated in China in late1980s. As the core concept of postmodernism, whether in the West or the East, deconstruction is not the concept which is imposed on society by philosophers, but the social idea developed from the civil and economic life inevitably. The background of this social idea is the skepticism and nihilism which are based on the spiritual values and metaphysica generated from the market economy life.The theory of deconstruction is just theoretical interpretation of cultural reality. Deconstruction goes deeply into every aspect of our social life, and has quite outstanding performance in literature, such as the Trendy Poets, the new realistic fiction, et cetera. And the Wang Shuo’s novel is the highlight. This thesis combines the theoretical expression of deconstruction, analyzing its emergence and development in the context of the history of China, and illustrating its literary performance by the case of Wang Shuo and Post Trendy Poets.
