Abstract: Today, the western feminism has put up with many theories on body. In this passage, the author want to. make the concept of the body out of water, and arrange and expound the feminism's ideas about the body concept in the western context through making a analysis on different theories of different schools in different time.The passage from a objective perspective try to redefine the body concept from a new aspect on the basis of the western feminism, and spear no efforts to make a comprehensive and clear line among various schools in the different times, hoping that can give, more or less, a credit to the current research on this theme. This paper consists of three chapters and nine parts.The first chapter, from a external viewpoint, is mainly focus on political connotation on the body concept from there chief feminism schools whose impact on the mainstream culture is more on political level than on the linguistic, theories and methods, also overthrowing the tradition with the aid of radical emphasis on gender politic, in which the second and third section constitute the highlight.
