Abstract: Today, the western feminism has put up with many theories on body. In this passage, the author want to. make the concept of the body out of water, and arrange and expound the feminism's ideas about the body concept in the western context through making a analysis on different theories of different schools in different time.The passage from a objective perspective try to redefine the body concept from a new aspect on the basis of the western feminism, and spear no efforts to make a comprehensive and clear line among various schools in the different times, hoping that can give, more or less, a credit to the current research on this theme. This paper consists of three chapters and nine parts.The first chapter, from a external viewpoint, is mainly focus on political connotation on the body concept from there chief feminism schools whose impact on the mainstream culture is more on political level than on the linguistic, theories and methods, also overthrowing the tradition with the aid of radical emphasis on gender politic, in which the second and third section constitute the highlight. In the first section, the brief narration of the long ignorance of the body study of early feminism schools is highlighted, in which liberal feminism in favor of oppression to women out of social unfair treatment argue that women must strive for more educational and vocational chances to get fairness between women and men, while Marxist and socialist feminism throw themselves into the class and gender problems. The second section concentrates on the body concept heightened to the crucial poison represented by radical feminism and, thinking that the main difference between female and male lies in the body, and mainly discussing the female gender in phallocentrism, social gender system, feeding and breeding, sexual violence, and sexual exploitation on the basis of politic level; In the third part, radical feminism, aiming at the body unfairness between female and male under phallocentrism, put up with so-called politic liquidation, as a result, feminism critical methods involving in, all which feminism make current critical methods politicization.The second chapter, from an internal aspect, analyzes the language-like explanation on the body of the post-modern feminism, and post-modernism shift the focus from structure to language, and post-modern feminism, called French feminism because of heavy French features, lays stresses on female language research. In which the first section is made a comprehensive introduction on French feminism theoretical origin as follows: Jacques Lacan, Jacques Derrida, and Michel Foucault. In the second part, the author introduces the body concept in The Other Theory represented by Simone de Beauvoir, the French feminism theory runner; and the last is mainly involving in the body language theory represented by there big French feminists: Helene Cixous's ecriture feminine, Luce Irigaray's parler feminine and Julia Kristiva's semiotic theory as well. They hold that dig the female language and social gender language, believing these language rooting in the female body, desire and imaginative ability, which help women to get rid of the control of patriarchal society.The third chapter from the multiple perspective is focus on the many kinds of doubts on the feminism's body theories at the turning point of the century, in which under the increasing globalization of world economic, politic and culture, feminism expand the body study scope to popular and consuming culture fields, to criticize the mainstream society at this time, particular in the construction of female body undertaken by popular and consuming cultures. In the first part, The Queer Theory is put up with, a multi-polar gender practice, which is the free choose and free dispose towards the body, also is a decomposition of the post-modern language to the mainstream language, providing a new aspect and practical possibility for cultural forward the multipolarization; The second is mainly engaging in the female body standardization under the consuming culture represented by the post-modern feminism, stemming from Michel Foucault's ideas of standardization, normalization and punishing for gazing, in which the author hold that under consuming culture, female body binding is liberated by female body standardization to some degree, and leading to free body display and contact, while again lead to body oppression and violence; The third section is focus on various theoretical doubts explores and explanations on body theory of post-modern feminism, whom admit the dynamic and multi-polar body, and think that uniform body image is lack of grounds, under consuming culture, which in spite of far from feminists' politic practice, it provides a multi-polar perspective, all which make all single norms obscure, and is conducive to multi-polar cultural and body study.
