The Cultural Studies Of Diasporic Literature

Diaspora and diasporic studies have alreadly attached much importance to academia under the background of globalization,and it's a new program to study and analyze the text of diasporic literature with the angle of cultural identity. The innovation of this dissertation is to comb and classify the thought implied in diasporic literature,has outlined the different cultural layer surface ,and also seek the general character and essential feature through the discrepancy of this kind of essence.The deep introspectiveness represented by " Indian trilogy ": An Area of Darkness,India:A Wounded Civilization,India:A Million Mutinies Now,for the state of actual existence of India and South Africa has made historical and realistic criticism to reconstruct the cultural pattern. Diasporic literature represented by Looking up to the Sky and The Namesake pays more attention to cultural conflict and collision between East and West,and the spiritual ownership of individuals and the different cultural choice ,although they are in different cultural situation ,the love for their native land is to be interlinked.
