From the 11th to the 13th century, one of the Turks, the Oghuz ,was galloping at will on the historical stage of the Central Asia. Their campaign exceeded Asia and touched the history of the East Europe. In the the first of the 10th century ,the Seljuq people , one house of the Oghuz, were pasturing on the grassland in the north of the Sir River. In the middle period of this century, they started to move towards the Transoxania and camped there.At this time ,they began to convert to Islamic. For one nomadic forces, they served as the mercenary army of the neighboring strong countries. They worked first for the Persia Samanids and later for the Karakhanids. Then they surrendered to the Ghaznavids. In the process of participating the tussles, the Seljuq people were gradually becoming stronger. Nearly one hundred years later, they developed from a barbaric uncivilized tribe who only took up a tiny area, to a great force that could sway the situation of the Central Asia. Finally, they defeated the regular army of the Ghaznavids and seized Khurasan in the north of the Amu Darya(Oxus).In the middle period of the 11th century ,they established their dynasty,the Seljuq dynasty.Taking up the west of the Central Asia, the Seljuq people pushed forward to the west. In 1055, they attacked into Baghdad city. In 1071, they went towards Byzantium and occupied Asia Minor. Then they established the Seljuq Empire which had the land east to the Central Asia and west to the Bosporus channel. It was the first power that the Turks established in the Westem Asia. The country existed more than 200 years. Holding the Abbsids khalif's religious status, the Empire ruled vast area of the Westem Asia, the Central Asia and Asia Minor.It had great influence on the history of these places.Originally the Seljuq was a group of nomadic people. Firstly,they governed their country by two kings who ruled respectively the east and the west . Then, they adopted the Persian Administration System, and the nation's administration was carried out by the central government led by the prime minister. The Noble Congress was gradually replaced by the Central Divan. Followed the centralized model, the local government also carried out a political system in which the dominion power and the administration power were separated. Either in central or in local administration organization, the Seljuq Empire employed a large number of Persian to serve as administrators in different levels. In the Seljuq Empire, the Army played an important role. At the time of Maliksha (11th century70s), the armymen were feoffed the estate, and the military leaders had administerial power on their feoffs.The Seljuq Empire took some measures to recover and promote the Central Asia's economy, because the economy of the Central Asia had important stratagemtactic significance for the whole Empire's economy.
