A Study Of Hermeneutics Of Shijizhuan Under The Background Of Neo-Confucianism

The Shijizhuan which Zhuxi devoted fourty years to writing enriched the thinking on Shijing. In the foundation of the interpretation of poems in the use of Neo-Confucianism, Zhuxi valued the poems themselves and united Neo-Confucianism and poems ingeniously, which led the interpretation of Neo-Confucianist of Shijing to maturity. So Shijizhuan became the third milestone of the study of Shijing, and had the tremendous influence to the later generations.This paper is composed by three parts. The first part introduces the history of the interpretation of Shijing. The second part analyzes the intepretational pattern of Neo-Confucianism of Shijizhuan, which mainly elaborates that Zhuxi set up the standard of poem to interpretate Shijing, and used the psychological interpretatation to attain the content of Neo-Confucianism. Moreover, it also narrates the contents of the interpretation of literature and Confucian classics under the background of Neo-Confucian briefly. The last part analyzes the reasons and the influence of's interpretational pattern of Shijizhuan.
