GongZizhen was a famous thinker and letter at the beginning of recent Chinese history. There are 27 collection of poems by GongZizhen. More than 600 has been passed down to this day. And most of the works was written after GongZizhen was 28 years old.His feelings and thoughts concerned about the destiny of their country and their people, which ware expressed in his poems. First, characterized by helping alleviate their hardships. Second, The imperial examination system has afflicted GongZizhen. He had a thorough understanding of bureaucracy, so hated the false and ugly official circles. His poems expose decadent bureaucracy. Third, GongZizhen. has already predicted that Qing dynasty would collapse soon.his poems expressd deep anxiety about the destiny of the country.GongZizhen's Poems characteristic of sorrowful– complaint and profound. Falling down on the bureaucracy broke his heart so that his poems filled with sorrow and complain. GongZizhen was very gifted which made his poems characteristic of fanciful imagination and precious images. Under Qing dynasty's high-handed policy, GongZizhen had to expresses subjective thoughts and feelings, often in a euphemistic and winding style or form.The formation of GongZizhen's poems elegant not only relating to poetics atmosphere but also relating to ancient poems traditional customs. GongZizhen was affectd deeply by ZhuangZi,QuYuan and LiBai. ZhuangZi had a tremendous bearing on GongZizhen.by fanciful imagination and criticism to reality. GongZizhen's poems were affected by QuYuan in form and in content. LiBai is highly esteemed by GongZizhen.So GongZizhen was under the influence of LiBai in various ways. Xingling School also had an effect on GongZizhen.
