Research On The Relationships Between Job Insecurity And Job Satisfaction, OCB

As the competition becomes more and more intesified, employees in organizations are experiencing more and more Job Insecurity, which influnces employees' work attitude and behavior. In order to set up effective strategies and measures for improving employees' perception about their jobs, and thus minimizing the negative effects of Job Insecurity, the effects of Perceived Organizational Support has on the relationships between Job Insecurity, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior should be investigated from a positive view.This present investigation used questionnaires, and received 237 pieces. In order to explore how Perceived Organizational Support influnces the relationships between Job Insecurity, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, several statistical methods, such as factor analysis, bivariate analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and path analysis, were used in the data processing.The results indicate that:(1) There are significant negative corelation in the renlationships between Job Insecurity and POS, OCB, as well as Job Satisfaction, and significant positive correlation in the relationships between POS and Job Satisfaction, POS and OCB.(2) Perceived Organizatinal Support has mediating effects on the relationships between Quantity Job Insecurity and Total Job Satisfaction, the relationships between Quality Job Insecurity and Job Satisfaction in itself, Award Satisfaction, Improvement Satisfaction, as well as Conscientiousness.(3) Total Job Insecurity exerts its effects on Total Job Satisfaction and OCB through POS.
