The conclusion drawn from the research about the designing features and principles will be applied into the practical Sign Design.The thesis elaborates the necessity and significance of color design on the basis of the characteristics and components of Sign Design. It points out color design should center on specific themes. Then the thesis goes about studying on the functions and characteristics of color design, putting great emphasis on the symbolization and transmission of color design. The thesis then goes further to reach a conclusion about the basic principles of color design, putting forward the principle that color design should be functional and aesthetic. Designing characters and rules and application environment are all defined in the thesis.
