The origin of literature is the inquiry for the fountainmental of literature,which is not confined to the empirical arrangement,but is the question closely to the fountainhead.All kinds writing configuration of culture is just a country ,a nation,or a genre in territorial meaning,including the deepest core which relates closely to human;otherwise,the regression to the Confucianism and the colourful depiction and writing for the home village is the externalization of inner spirit,also is the objectification of origin in a nation and territory.So,tracing back to origin neither searchs the cultural genre,nor the hometown of author.It searchs the fountainhead,the much more inner part in human heart than culture,which is the inherent motive.It is not doubtful that literature has the mission of passing down the traditional culture ,as well as the social function and cultural attribute of writing traditional culture and expressing the folk culture,but it is just the existence of substantiality,because human's spirit is not belonged to the category of intellectuality.So we can't get the conclusion that traditional Chinese culture is the final goal for literature of tracing back to origin.Just as this,we can understand the puzzled emotion of authors of root-seeking literature,and the complicated communication and discussion among them. Authors of root-seeking literature express their life experience through literature,but in fact they look for the eternal safey bailment and homestead for the spirit.The process is the eteral,endless metempsychosis,or to say that they lead the way back to themselves.
