Clarinet has the widest pitch range among all wood winds. It has almost 4 8ths with drastic dynamics and colorful timbres. It is applicable in various situations such as chamber, orchestral, military and jazz. The timbre of this instrument is not only related to the construction of the instrument itself, but also largely to the player. That is, the physical and mental capabilities of the player. It is very important to understand the composition, the composer and the style so that one can find the proper timbre. In the following chapters, I will study the subjective elements that could influence the timbre of clarinet. I will mostly focus on the physical elements, mental elements and the style of composition.
