In recent years ,decorative art of LiaoDynasty was opened more and more. There are many different between decorative art of LiaoDynasty which include Neimenggu's,Shanxi's,Hebei's and decorative art in south of china at first sight. Speaking in generally, lot of people can judge famous of decorative art of LiaoDynasty and decoration of south china correctly, Althought there are many same styles and same features.During many years, Liao's decorative art had become the symphony of Zhongyuancultrue,grasslandculture and forestculture.Liao is the one of several governments in China, they had been influenced by Chinese culture in that time .They learn art from China, Because they have no advanced economy, they were interested in politics,economics,culture of China .They owned characters of themselves ,but they had studied architecture of tang,songdynasty hardly.The author wrote the paper for the purpose of making people that untherstand the connotation throught the research on the traditional environmental art and making them to think highly of the appreciation of the beautiful of traditional culture, lay stress on the harmony between people and environment and pay attention to protection of environmental ruins. The author has a research on the decorative art of Liao in the area of LiaoNing . It used the research method of combining the social sciences such as history,folklore and religion and the theory of building and decorative art. It invest and drew on the spot and collected as many materials as possible. It also collected many effects of religious culture on environmental art and discussed the rigorous meaning of the traditional art and decorative words in the research on modern environmental art and then saw through the development and needs for appreciation of Liao's living culture from religious culture and environmental art.
