Developmental Research On Child's Grammar Receptivity Ability

First we fixed on the framework of the test for reception of child's grammar. Secondly we carried on the test twice to modificate items and pictures.on the basis of the results we made sure the structure and content of the test and made it become a formal test.Finally we test 1000 subjects from 3.0 to 7.5 separately.On the basis of the results we set up local norm for half-year old and collected reliability and validity data.In the meantime we examined child's grammar receptivity ability and developmental characteristics.Through these study,we found:(1) The test for reception of child's grammar covered 22 kinds of single and complex sentences,in all 66 items consisting with child's language development characteristics. The test analysis indicated the arranging structure is rational and reliability and validity is appropriate.The internal consistency a coefficient was from.520 to .936 and the test-retest reliability was .825.(2)After counting the scores of the test for reception of child's grammar,we concluded the scores continuously raise along with age of growth.This test could distinguish different develop level with different age stage.(3) The scores distributtion of the test for reception of child's grammar close to be positive.There was different significant among different ages,nor was between male and female. So set up the local norm for half-year old was appropriate.(4)From 3.0 to 5.5 years old, child's receptivity ability raised continuously along with the age and there was different significant in all ages. 6.0 years old child's developmental speed of receptivity ability slowed,.There was a temporary stagnationor plateau for the 7.0 years old children which developmental speed of receptivity ability again started improving.(5)4.0-5.0 years old child could basically comprehend most sentence constructions.4.5-5.0 years old was key period of complex sentence comprehension and mastery. 5.0 years old child had already comprehend most sentence constructions.The sequence mastering complex sentence among them was successively parataxis complex sentence, cause and effect complex sentence, explains complex sentence, hypothesis complex sentence, transition complex sentence, intention complex sentence,passes to accept complex sentence, condition complex sentence ,choice complex sentence.The 7.5 years old child had already comprehend typical items such as indirect instruction, deceitful words and irony. But their comprehension of depth and width still needed a further exaltation.(6) 7.5 years old child still could't comprehend passive sentence and choice complex sentence completely.The pass rate didn't arrive 70%.The difficulty rested with that how to judge the objects which is "do"or "be do"and choose associate words of complex sentences.
