Li Keran Study Paint From Life Summary

Li keran is the practictioner who reformed Chinese painting through landscape painting, is the typical representative from classical (traditional) landscape painting to modern landscape painting in 20^th century as well. He had experienced the paint from life in practice for a long time. Absorbing western art element, he founded a modern paint from life method and came to a unique style of landscape painting in the 1960s. That is the distinctive difference between modern paint from life and traditional "paint the outline with eyes and mind". He combined the western painting ways of against the light into paint from life and Chinese painting.
