The Research On The Phonetic Of Yicheng Dialect

Abstract: Yicheng, is a district of Zaozhuang city. It lies in the southern part of Shandong province with a long histroy. The dialect of Yicheng belongs to the Zhongyuan Mandarin. This study provides us a fully discription and research of the dialect of Yicheng.There are four chapters in this paper:The first chapter is preface, which introduces the geography, administation area, population and the evolution of organizational system of Yicheng. It also describes the internal differences among Yicheng dialect and points out the influence and worth of investigating Yicheng dialect.The second chapter describes the phonetic system of Yicheng dialect. In addition, some phenomena of sound changes will also be briefly discussed in this chapter.The third chapter lists the syllabary of Yicheng dialect.The fourth chapter deals with the corresponding relationship with the phonological system of the Yicheng dialect and Guangyun phonological system. Some sound changes and historical development from Middle Chinese to the modern dialect is discussed as well.
