The perspective of contemporary Chinese novels develops in one continuous line with the literary concept of the 80's in a great degree.Latin-American"Magic-Realism"has caused great influence towards Chinese literary circles. Chinese literary circles regard Latin-American"Magic-Realism"as a brand new reading recepts, advanced literary technique, and unique aesthetic style. Under the influence of the concept of"literature independence", symbolism, imagination, fantasy, deformation, animism, tradition and cultural hybridity have been emerged in large scale in Chinese novels. The success of Latin-American novels makes the Chinese literary circle to hold one viewpoint: the hope of Chinese novels is to rely on the soil of traditional Chinese culture, to combine the advanced techniques and experiences of foreign countries and to show the reality of china. This point of view develops in one continuous line with our acknowledgements of Latin-American"Magic-Realism": to rely on the soil of Latin American culture (faith), to combine with the advanced western experiences (like surrealism), to show the reality of Latin America.According to the author, this point of view still leaves room to be improved and enriched. First of all, the concept of"reality in china"is worth discussing. Realty is never like water without a source, the connection between history and reality is more than splitting around 80's. Secondly, the concept of Latin-American Magic Realism is originated by western countries and the above opinions in Chinese literary circles are more close to this concept. Thirdly, the author thinks that the fundamental feature of Latin-American novels represented by Magic Realism is to confront the standards made by western countries in the name of"enlightenment":"the advanced","democracy","equality","freedom"etc. However, these impressive standards are showing another face in Latin America: imputation, conquer, slavery and control. Backwardness is not the phase towards civilization; backwardness is the result of civilization. Therefore, the author believes, the Magic Realism is rather a confrontation towards standards than a new aesthetic experience. The essay is composed of five parts. The article will define the border of the magic realism in the perspective of Chinese literary circles since 80's; and try to question the effectiveness and rationality of this"border"through comparison and discrimination; and try to draw the conclusion through the comparison and analysis of specific writers and works, especially Alejo Carpentier and his works. The value of the novels in Latin America, to Chinese literature, is to remind us the inside and outside of literature is united as a whole and can not be separated; and the literature and the society is united as a whole and can not be separated; and the reform and the opening up is united with the land reform as a whole and cannot be separated; and the contemporary reality of china is united with the national democratic revolution as a whole and cannot be separated.
