Latin-American Magic-Realism And Chinese Literature In The New Period

Latin-American Magic-Realism has left a deep impression on the Chinese literature ,especially the stage in the 1980's. Coming from the Third World and the same to China, Latin-America has many resemble properties with our country. Its writing method of fantasy and exaggeration set an example. Mainly its writing sense made Chinese literature a great change in the new period.Chinese writers realized what we had lost and the wide gap with literature of foreign writing styles. There are suitable methods of displaying our culture and mentality in Magic-Realism. So the literary world of Chinese became proper in a short time, such as the"Root Seeking",vanguard novels and etc. After studying of Magic-Realism ,Chinese writers draw on the experience of writing faming and techniques ,artistic sense and style. Still , they go on improving, creating and becoming deformed. Now what you see in Chinese literature ,the Magic-Realism is basic on our culture and civilization, so it has the characteristic of landlization, distictlization and multiculturalization. As the only one literary genre stands for China.This article tries to find out the concrete cause that why Latin-American Magic-Realism can be accepted and develop in China. In Chinese traditional literature and cultural, there is"Magic"gene. Certainly, it is also supplying for the changing of the Old Realism in China. In terms of literature, the acceptance of Magic-Realism in China with"One Hundred Years of Solitude"as representative, is a self-examination and self-identification process of the Chinese nation.
