The paper begins with the analysis of Swing phenomenon, which is a very important stage in the process of the development of jazz and exposition of the integration of black and white musical culture phenomenon. Then the article extends to other music culture fusion phenomena with a more comprehensive and deeply discussion. The preamble is about the meaning of topic choice and the significance on the purpose of writing. The paper is divided into four chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the historical background of the formation of the terms "jazz" and "Swing", and it is also in order to discuss the history and culture existing in the jazz in a more detailed and specific way. The second chapter elaborates the style characteristics . The third chapter elaborates music performance of Swing, mainly through the analysis of three representative bands of this period. The focal points of this chapter are the contents of the last paragraph about the integration of the black and white music culture. The forth chapter is the focus of this paper. It explains the cultural integration included in jazz, in order to show that jazz is not a specific race music while it is an outstanding music consisting of kinds of musical culture.
