The Leader Of Disciminative Research In Song Dnasty

The history of Chinese discriminative research is long. In the perpetual historical flow,all previous dynasties scholars who distinguished the false book by tenacious energetic attacked the false book unceasingly,and attained remarkable achieivement.Zheng-Qiao is an outstanding one.His achievement in discriminative research,especially on the Poetry,played an important role in the Poetry study.Zheng- Qiao was an expert in History, Textual criticism and Bibliography .Most of his works were lost ,so his achievement on discriminative research was neglected for a long time.Therefore the present thesis attempts to get a summary of Zheng-Qiao's discriminative research by compiling his discrimination achievement and analyzing his discriminative ideology.The thesis consists three parts :preface,main text and conclusion.In the preface,the author briefly introduces the history of discriminative research,especially on Song Dnasty,in order to emphasis Zheng-Qiao's important achievement.In the end of the preface ,the significance for choosing shch a topic will be given.The first chapater,which is entitled"the history of discriminative research studies before Zheng-Qiao",briefly retrospects the appearance and the development of discriminative achievement before Zheng-Qiao .The second chapter ,which is entitled"Zheng-Qiao's achievement of discriminative research",aims at a summary of Zheng-Qiao's discrimination achievement,analyzing his methods through his representative works about the achievement such as Shi Bian Wang.Zheng-Qiao's main contribution to discriminative research is the discrimination about the preface of Poetry,Mao Zhuan and Zheng Jian.Aslo he suspected the fact that Confucius had deleted the Poetry.In addition to these main achievement ,he had a lot of discriminative research works,but most of them had already lost ,we can only know a little about this aspect.The third chapter,"the characteristics of Zheng-Qiao's discriminative research"mainly analyze the methods and ideas of Zheng-Qiao's discriminative research. He could sum the regulations of the false book, used historical principle method in his discrimination activities and he could take the rational spirit as the instruction. His manner was earnest and realistic.All these special characteristics made him a prominent scholar. His academic spirit still has practical significance nowadays. The fourth chapter ,which is entitled"the reason of Zheng-Qiao's proficiency in discriminative research"mainly discusses the reasons for Zheng-Qiao's proficiency in discriminative research from both objective and subjective aspects. Object aspects:First ,the development of philology study in Song Dnasty made the ideological trend of suspition popular in intellectuals, most of them were good at discrimination.Second,Fu Jian is the centre of engraving printing,which provided rich physical conditions for Zheng-Qiao's discriminative activities. Subjective aspects:First, Zheng-Qiao prefered real knowledge to empty talk.Second, he was engaged in study all his life and he was an outstanding scholar.The fifth part ,which entitled"the influence of Zheng-Qiao's discriminative research"mainly points out the influence of Zheng-Qiao's discrimination activities and inquires about the reasons why he was neglected in this area for a long time.The conclusion part is the summary of full text, which promulgates Zheng-Qiao's status in the history of disciminative research and the academic spiritual value.
