Vivid Imagination

In this thesis I discuss the general method of study painting. I focus on the difference between image and painting. The painting's attraction, but not the objects in the paintings, move others. The image high-tech can't replace painting. Images exist just for its composition but painting develops for its attraction. So important thing for painting is how to paint, not what to paint."Vivid Imagination"is the first rule for Chinese painting. Now we need transplant the"Vivid imagination"conception into oil painting.With the development of western painting,, western painter pay more and more attention on"Vivid imagination". The Chinese art spirit melt with western oil painting on this point. It can help us to understand the essence of painting. And the"Vivid imagination"can inspire our creative ability on painting.
