From the beginning of birth to the end of death, all one's life is growing and developing accompanied by his family. At one's different stages of development, family plays different roles. One's intelligence is developing more rapidly at the preschool period. It can be better to develop preschool children's capabilities by early detection of their multiple intelligences tendency, so as to lay the foundation of intellectual development for preschool children's whole life. Family is preschool children's main living environment. Preschool children have the most contact with their parents. So, family plays a very important role in developing preschool children's intelligence and intelligence tendency.The paper tries to examine family environment and parenting style's effect on preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency by empirical study, build corresponding theoretical model, reveal the family factors that affecting preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency, get to know what kinds of family environment and parenting style can better develop preschool children's multiple intelligences, so as to find the deep-rooted family factors that affecting preschool children's development of multiple intelligences and provide theory basis for family education of developing preschool children's capabilities.(1) Preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency have significant difference on sex, grade, urban and rural areas, kindergarten's kinds, family income, parents' education qualification and occupation; but have no significant difference on family structure and family's living space.(2) Factors of family's soft environment have significant difference on urban and rural areas, family structure, family income, parents' education qualification and occupation; but have no significant difference on sex, grade and family's living space.(3) Parenting style has significant difference on urban and rural areas, family income, parents' education qualification and occupation; but has no significant difference on sex, grade, family structure and family's living space.(4) There is a very significant correlation between family environment, parenting style and preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency, in which positive parenting style has significant positive correlation with preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency; cohesion, achievement orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation and active-recreational orientation of family environment have significant positive correlation with preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency; cohesion, achievement orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation and active-recreational orientation of family environment have significant positive correlation with positive parenting style.(5) Family environment is the basis of family education. It directly affects preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency and parenting style. Parenting style is the most important factor in family education that can affect children's intellectual development. It directly affects preschool children's multiple intelligences tendency and also is affected by family environment.
