This article embarks on the concrete historical fact, and takes "Ming shilu" as the basic historical data. It counts the frequency, number of participants and plundering goods that Mongolia goes down to the south and plunders the Ming Dynasty's frontier, specifically during the time from 1436 to 1464, namely the period of Zheng-tong, Jing-tai and Tian-shun. Then it analyzes and summarizes certain characteristics which it presents, and discusses the primary causes of it. The basic structure and content of the full text are as follows:Chapter1.Introduction. This part expounds the reasons why the article selects this topic, the basic path of thought, the material sources, the methods as well as carrying on the explanation to the correlative questions, and gives a brief review on the previous study.Chapter2. It focuses on the composition of Mongolia as well as the border of the Ming Dynasty and Mongolia, geographical environment and production mode during the years of 1436~1464. Mongolia is engaged on animal husbandry production basically but people living in the boundary of the Ming Dynasty and Mongolia specially work at farming, and concurrently undertake certain animal production.Chapter3. It counts the frequency, number of participants and plundering goods that Mongolia goes down to south and plunders the Ming Dynasty's frontier in the period of Zheng-tong, Jing-tai and Tian-shun. Then it analyzes the main purpose of Mongolia going down to the south and plundering the Ming Dynasty's frontier frequently. Their motive is plundering stockbreeding stuffs, rather than agricultural stuffs. And it also summarizes that the frequent days of Mongolia plundering stockbreeding stuffs appears in spring.Chapter4. It discusses the main causes that Mongolia is able to go down to the south and plunder the Ming Dynasty's frontier frequently and plunders stockbreeding stuffs during the time from 1436 to 1464. It accounts for the causes that Mongolia is able to go down to the south and plunder the Ming Dynasty's frontier unceasingly by analyzing Mongolia's own characteristics as well as agricultural nationality's certain characteristics; then it expounds the causes of Mongolia plundering stockbreeding stuffs massively. It is because of the weakness of pastoral economy, importance of livestock in the Mongolian area and the natural disasters which bring on economical pressure of Mongolia finally.In the conclusion part, it summarizes the primary views of the article.
