Humanitarian thinking of Western culture and the traditional culture of China both have a long history in the West in ancient Greece and China can be traced back to the pre-Qin period its root causes. Europe during the Renaissance, humanitarian formed a relatively mature and relatively complete theoretical system, and with a modern sense of the meaning. "May 4th" period, China's advanced intellectuals in the anti-tradition under the banner of the Western humanitarian thinking of the introduction of a comprehensive and absorption. On the other hand, as the traditional culture of continuous potential impact of China's traditional culture, there is no humanitarian factors in the "May 4th" period with the wave of anti-traditional and total loss.
