Research On Yang Zhensheng’s "Human" Thought

In Yang Zhensheng’s ideological system,he integrated the Chinese traditional humanistic spirit’s universal self-care for human beings,the concern for human’s survival and destiny,and the New Humanism thought’s pursuit and constraint for human’s self-development,which formed his moderate and free thought of"human".The first chapter starts with Yang Zhensheng’s creation and literary thought,and leads to the analysis of Yang Zhensheng’s literary thought by exploring the controversy of many critics on the creation thought of Yu Jun.During the Movement of May 4^thperiod,the enlightenment thinkers advocated the liberation and freedom of human personality.As one of torchbearers,Yang Zhensheng affirmed the positive significance of human liberation to the society,but at the same time,he emphasized the need to establish a new moral and cultural order on the basis of inherits the traditional culture to restrain the existence of human.Yang Zhensheng does not advocate a radical way to complete human liberation and social change.On the contrary,he advocated the gradual development of culture and education to cultivate a healthy personality and promote social development.In this sense,Yang Zhensheng’s attitude towards reform is moderate.The second chapter combines Yang Zhensheng’s literary creation and educational practice to express his thought of"human"in detail.On this basis,excavate the connotation of personality ideal which Yang Zhensheng insists on.The third chapter explores the reasons why Yang Zhensheng has been neglected by the literary circle for many years,and further understands his understanding of the nature of human being,so as to make an objective evaluation of his thought and historical status,and reflect on the significance of his thought for the development of today’s society.In the period of radical change,Yang Zhensheng examined social development with a rational and moderate mentality,which enabled him to jump out of the circle of change and make forward-looking predictions on cultural development from the long-term perspective of social and historical development.This showed a relatively sound cultural mentality,which made him unique in the trend of The Times.
