Mental health school social work resources are various visible or invisible essential factors and conditions that serve for mental health education, help student solve mental problem to promote student good development in school educational system. Resource system of mental health school social work is the integration of various interactionally visible or invisible resources of mental health school social work which exist in schools, families and communities. Construction on resource system is not only helpful for research on assurance system of college and secondary school students' mental health school social work, but also helpful for exploiting and optimizing college and secondary school students' mental health school social work resources.Based on previous studies, this study aims to investigate the present situation of college and secondary school students' mental health school social work, find out the basic relation between resources, and then construct resource system of college and secondary school students' mental health school social work.This study adopted questionnaire method to investigate 537 teachers and administrators engaged in mental health educational work from different colleges and secondary schools in the 7 great areas such as North China, Central China, East China, Northeast China, Southwest China, South China and Northwest China. And the Non-structured Interview combined with Behavioral Event Interview was conducted on a sample of 41 mental health school social workers, college and secondary school students, parents and community members in Southwest China. The conclusions are as follows:i. In general, the allocation and use of college and secondary school students' mental health school social work resources can not meet reality needs. ii. The degree of the allocation and use of college and secondary school students' mental health school social work resources from high to low is: school resources, family resources and community resources.iii. In general, there are significant differences in community resources use between different localities, and the level from high to low is: cities, towns and countries.iv. There are significant differences in resources use between adequate mental health educational workers, consummate consulting (tutor) place, standard institutional assurance, well family economic condition, integrated family structure, positive coordination of community members, abundant community donation and completed community facility in different localities, and the level from high to low is: cities, towns and countries.v. There are significant differences in resources use between adequate mental health educational workers, consummate consulting (tutor) place, standard institutional assurance, well family economic condition and integrated family structure in different kind of schools, and the level from high to low is: colleges, secondary schools.vi. Resource system of college and secondary school students' mental health school social work is composed of school resources, family resources and community resources in which common services for the mental health school social work are led to school resources, fully mobilized family resources, as well as actively seek community resources in order to integrate resources.
