Nowadays, digital technique is entering into the field of documentary producing energetically unprecedented. Taking digital visual effects as a representative, digital technique enriches the expression skill of documentary greatly, extends the content category of documentary, enhances the external quality of documentary, and has a great influence on creating idea and presence form of documentary synchronously.In review of the developing course of each classical art, the appearance of any technical or artistic means is always followed by certain culture appeal. Digital visual effects applying in documentary is not occasional at all, but is an inevitable result of visual cultural transition and entertainmentization of film and television in the present age.
