A Study On The Abstractness By Literati Painting's Way Of Expression

On the basis of traditional cultural thoughts and aesthetic spirit, this paper takes the abstractness demonstrated by literati paintings'way of expression as the starting point, probes into the causes and expression of the abstractness demonstrated by literati paintings through integral methodology. This paper falls into three parts. Part one focuses on clarifying the connotations of the concepts of"abstraction","abstractness","elements with abstractness"and"literati paintings"etc, and probes the inevitability of the abstractness demonstrated by literati paintings'way of expression proceeding from the underlying law governing Chinese painting's way of expression; part two explores the external causes of the formation of the abstractness demonstrated by literati paintings'way of expression from the perspective of the impact exerted by cultural environment; part three approaches the reflections of the abstractness demonstrated by literati paintings'way ofExpression in such aspects as Chinese painting's unique aesthetic value, designing techniques and composition principles. This paper is an attempt at a clear notion of the internal and external causes of literati paintings'way of expression from an entirely new angle through a systemic combing and an investigation on literati paintings'unique attractiveness and rich cultural value.
