On Changes Of The Material In The Language Of Visual Arts On The Function

Evolution of human art form and the concepty related the changes of the art materials, because the media-materials is an important part for artists in artistic creation of various factors. All material has two properties: the material properties and social properties.To re-examine and flexibility use,is primary issues to be considered for contemporary artists.As Visual arts went into modern and post-modern stage, the traditional function of the material has been unable to meet the needs of artists and the expression of the realization of the concept. Changes of the material in the language of Visual Arts on the function and its status meet the artistic development and the changing of the people's aesthetic concepts, contrary impact on artists aesthetic creation, and the impact of public aesthetic acceptance is subtle and profound. The research and study of the changes of the material in the language of Visual Arts on the function and its status,is the key of analysising, understanding and evaluating many problems of the development of contemporary art.Based on this, the paper divided into three sections, the first chapter, through the review of the history about material and the Visual Arts, citing its two properties and the use of different types of materials, lead us more comprehensive understanding of the importance media-material in art; the second chapter,showing the process of the human society and the arts to their own development, contacting the change of the contemporary art's concept and the trend of thought,we specific analysis the changes of the material in the language of Visual Arts on the function and its status; from the third chapter, on the three aspects: Visual Arts,Education of the Art College, Aesthetic concept, the paper viewed the practical significance and impact of change.
