Country poetry was flourishing since the end of last century, but compare with the pioneer poetry, it was not thought highly of as it is deserved in the academic circles. Even though some works relate to some country poetry, it is a simple commentary, a lot of problem have not been elaborated deeply among the country poetry. Based on this, this thesis use country poetry as object, and analyzes the theme direction of the country poetry at the turn of the new century thoroughly.And the thesis has three chapters.In the first chapter, from the analyzing Native Soil, New Native Soil, Theme of Countryside, which have uncertain connotation, and scholars always mix up them, this thesis certainly uses the Country Poetry to command them. And based on this, we analyze the changing of Chinese countryside since 1990s, and we comb out the realistic background of the emergence of country poetry.In the second chapter, from the angle of general features of aesthetics or general spiritual orientation, which are desolation and pity, we discuss the chief substance. The first aspect is that the country poetry has contained lots of ecologic ideology, which respectively reflect the fact that industry damages the countryside and advocates that the man should be harmonious with nature. The second is that the country poetry also holds the consciousness of returning to the mother earth and returning to childhood in store.In the third chapter, we analyze the deep element of regression, which appears in the sense of ecology and the sense of regression in country poetry. The thesis holds that it is related to world outlook and cultural status of poet. Thanks To the demand of poetry writing , and under the influence of the culture that the west thinker criticize metaphysics, poets persist in the Empathy way of thinking, and give up the opposite way of thinking between subject and object, and erase the possibility of human egocentrism and the-strong-centrism. Again, because poets are influenced negatively when the modern civilization invade the countryside, they always insist on the sense of achieving"agricultural life"which is full of poetic quality. So it is inevitable for them to return to the country and childhood.Finally, this thesis points out that the village poetry has reached great achievements among the poetry writing at present, and it has become the phenomenon which can not be ignored. Speaking it from certain degree, the literal history should not overlook it.
