The State Culture Project Outline for the Eleventh Five-Year Period issued in Sep 13th 2006 points out that the curriculum in elementary and high school should integrate the essence of ancient Chinese culture.As the base for high school students'ideology and morality education, the course of ideology and morality should draw references from the essence of ancient Chinese culture to develop students'outlooks on the world, life and values, patriotism and national spirit.As the scientific conclusion of previous science and philosophy Marxist philosophy is the fruit of our previous understanding and remould of the world and hence is the most scientific philosophy system till now. That philosophy itself is abstract and logic reasoning make it difficult for students to understand during the teaching of philosophy basic.Teacher's integration of ancient Chinese philosophy into the teaching of philosophy basic can make it a fresh experience for students and thus can arouse students desire to learn. This can lay a basis for further teaching. Classical philosophy remarks are the wealth of human knowledge. If teachers can utilize them in their teaching they can consolidate the validity of the teaching content.The introduction of philosopher's thoughts can expand the teaching content. It can also help students understand the abstract and hard philosophy concepts.Comparision is also an effective way in teaching philosophy concepts. Teacher can let students compare those similar concepts and schools and thus students can deepen their understanding of Marxist theory and strengthen their understanding of materialism.Teacher can also introduce classical philosophical stories into class to activate their desire to learn and foster their independent thinking. The author thinks that the integration of ancient Chinese culture into philosophy teaching can not only make an active learning atmosphere in class but also can help expand students vision and develop their logic reasoning. It can also helps students form a Marxist outlook on the world, life and values. In all it is a worthy tool for the teaching and learning of Marxist philosophy.
